LiF Groups is a fun and easy way for us to connect with friends and family in our Church AND reach out to other friends and neighbors who may not currently have a Church Home.

LiF stands for

I nformation
F ellowship

  • LiF Groups can be formed to help people Learn something new
  • LiF Groups can be formed to let people share Information on a variety of topics
  • LiF Groups can be formed just to get together for Fun and Fellowship

The best part of LiF Groups is it builds relationships between people by inviting them to join us in things we are already doing, or by creating new opportunities to share experiences and activities together!!

LiF Groups are led by YOU!!

  • You can form a LiF Group that meets ONE TIME for a specific activity - like going to a SPORTING EVENT
  • You can form a LiF Group that meets every ONCE IN A WHILE - like EATING OUT or BIKING
  • You can form a LiF Group that meets every MONTH or WEEK - like PHOTOGRAPHY or COOKING

The only limit to what kinds of LiF Groups there are to choose from is your imagination!

Here's how it works:

  1. Come to Hope and pick up a LiF Group Form, or download one from the Hope website
  2. Fill in Your Name as “Host”, write in the name of the activity and a brief description, write down the time and place and cost (if any) for the activity, and decide how many people you want to join you
  3. Bring the completed LiF Group form to Hope Church and we'll post it on the official “LiF Groups Board” in the Church entryway
  4. When people come to Church on Sunday (or any day) they look at the LiF Group postings, decide which one looks like something they would like to do, then they sign up
  5. At the appointed time and place your LiF Group meets and everybody has a great time and makes new friends!
  6. Repeat steps 1-5 above!!

Hope Lutheran Church is a worshiping community of belivers, members of the Body of Christ. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, by the preaching and teaching of His Word, God calls us to equip and utilize all members for our ministry of witness and service to one another and to our neighbors.
