SMALL GROUP UPDATE - It's time to get connected! Every fall, you are invited and encouraged to attend or host a small group for relational encouragement, discussion and prayer. Our next church-wide study will begin on Sunday, October 5th, and will sync up with the Sunday message topics for six weeks. It is called Wide Angle-Framing Your World View. It is based on a book by Charles Colson entitled The Good Life. If you want a jump start on the study, you can purchase The Good Life from our Amazon store or any book store and read it prior to the study. The video sessions feature Rick Warren in interview/discussion with Chuck Colson on various topics that relate to important questions of our day such as truth, tolerance, terrorism, reconciliation and the purpose of life. If you have questions or want more information, call Karen O'Brien or e-mail karenobrien@qwestoffice.net.

GIFTS & GOODIES SALE! - It's coming! The Annual Women's Ministries Gift & Goodies Sale will be Sunday, November 23rd. Start looking for those items you would like to donate to the sale. This year, we are going to try something new: selling talents. How does this work? Think about things you do well and enjoy doing - perhaps it's cooking, or wrapping presents, or holiday decorating. We will have coupons for you to fill out - for example: two hours of wrapping presents or cooking a meal or giving someone three hours of help to decorate for Christmas. We will post the coupons on the bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall to sell along with other items. For many of us, time can be our most valuable commodity - both to give and receive. You can also participate in this fundraiser by setting items aside, making items, baking, and thinking about which talents you want to donate. Our storage space is limited, but if you really need to get it out of your house, contact Bobbie. Questions? Contact Karin Roney, karin@roneyfamily.net, or Bobbie Mowery at 206-938-0768
