SUNDAY, July 27 - ANNUAL OUTDOOR WORSHIP & PICNIC AT CAMP LONG: Meet for Contemporary Worship in the park at 11:00 a.m. at the south end of the field at the Fire Ring (in the shade!). BBQ hamburgers and hotdogs with all the trimmings, drinks and tableware will be provided. Please bring desserts and salads to share. Also, bring a chair or blanket to sit on for your comfort. Camp Long's address is 5200 35th Ave. S.W.
Please note - there will be a Traditional Service at Hope Church at 8:00 a.m. (no service at the church at 10:30 a.m.). If you worship at the 8:00 a.m. service, please come to Camp Long around 12 noon for a great time and delicious food!
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - What an awesome week we had with over 190 children and 80 volunteers experiencing the love of Jesus everyday! Thanks to everyone for your support and prayers! Remember you are one of a kind and Jesus loves you! Our VBS week culminates Sunday, June 27, at Camp Long. Come for worship at 11:00 and/or the picnic at 12:00 p.m. Join us!
HOPE MEN'S BOOT CAMP ADVANCE - "RUN WITH THE WILD," SEPTEMBER 26 - 28. Last Fall, 41 guys signed up for an adventure to get their hearts back at Hope's Men's Boot Camp based on the life-changing message of Wild at Heart, by John Eldredge. If you were there, it's time for Boot Camp Advanced; if you missed it, the regular Boot Camp will be available again on the same weekend. Come to the mountains by Lake Wenatchee at Tall Timber Ranch and reconnect with the life you were meant to live! Online registration will be available soon. WOMEN'S RETREAT OCTOBER 10th - 12th. "Captivating" by John and Stasi Eldredge, will be discussed in a new book club workshop. To order the book, go to HopeÂs home page and click on Amazon Store. The book is $9.00. Our guest speaker, Jan Dwyer Bang, will be sharing on "Exercising Your Gifts of the Spirit Daily." ANNUAL CARPET CLEANING - TUESDAY, AUGUST 12TH, the church and school offices will be closed after approximately 11:00 a.m. for our annual carpet cleaning of the campus.

HYGIENE ITEMS FOR HOMELESS PEOPLE - Hygiene items are running low at the Compass Center. Can you help? They need: tooth paste, tooth brushes, dental floss, cough drops, razors, shaving cream, deodorant, lotion, shampoo, nail clippers, hand sanitizers. The Dollar Store is a great place to purchase these items. Place your bagged items in the box in the Commons marked CC. Your donations help to make a poor person's life a little more bearable. ENSENADA CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM - Sign up to sponsor a child for the 2014-2015 school year! Grade School - $55 or Middle & High School - $105. Your donation will provide school uniforms, socks, shoes, and back packs (including books for High Schoolers). The Fresh Start Scholarship Program was started many years ago by a Hope member who served on a mission trip to Ensenada Mexico. Help break the cycle of illiteracy and poverty by giving children a 'fresh start' this school year! If you are already a sponsor, please prayerfully respond to the mailing sent to you.
