PRAYER CHAINS – We are blessed to have two prayer chains at Hope: 1) a phone call chain that goes out to all Women of Hope Circles and 2) an email prayer chain that is initiated in the church office. If you have a prayer request to add to either or both chains or are interested in being added to the distribution list for the email prayer chain, please contact the church office at church@hopeseattle.org. Tina Mebust is the now the new Women of Hope Prayer Chain Coordinator for the phone call chain. You may call her directly with requests for the WOH Bible Study Groups at 932-3537. All requests should be specific and should follow these guidelines:
(a) Please ensure that you have received the person’s permission to put the request on the prayer chain.
(b) Make sure to provide the first name of the person and the reason for the request.
(c) Requests requiring the strict confidentiality of the person or the situation being prayed for should not be shared on the public prayer chain, but instead with another person.
(d) No request should be placed on a prayer chain that would embarrass or harm the person being prayed for.
Lastly, any and all prayer requests may also be directed to an Elder, who can follow up with a visit or phone call. Such requests may be placed in the Elder box in the Commons.
