Hope Lutheran Preschool
At Hope Lutheran School, beginning in fall 2011, we are expanding our preschool program to better meet the needs of the community that we serve with three different preschool classes, as well as an extended day option. We invite you to consider our preschool as a place for your children to learn and thrive.
Hope Lutheran School offers a top quality education for preschool through 8th grade and feeds into Seattle Lutheran High School. Our preschool serves 3-5 year olds and their families. Hope is NLSA & NA accredited.
Hope Preschool provides a safe, nurturing Christian learning community filled with active, enriching experiences which promote age appropriate cognitive, social, spiritual, creative and motor development in each individual child.
Washington state Early Learning Benchmarks and LCMS standards are the backbone of our curriculum. The way that looks in preschool is that we are hands-on play-based with intention. We intentionally plan activities with standards and skill building in mind, and we intend for each child to be fully ready for kindergarten by the end of their prek year.
We are proponents of bringing the wonder of nature to children's lives through our outdoor play garden. The children have the opportunity to plant, harvest and share produce each year, as well as use the outdoor space for science and sensory exploration.
Teachers have early childhood education as well as years of experience. Each class size is limited to 16 students with a full time aide in each class.
Our preschool program for 3 year olds is a morning program, with options for 2 days, 3 days, or 5 days per week. We offer two programs for 4 year olds, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Both programs have 4 day or 5 day per week options.
