3 year old Preschool meets Mon. and Tues. 8:15-11:00 and is taught by Mrs. Kim Hood.
4 year old preschool meets Wed. – Fri. am and pm classes – Mrs. Marie Tornow is teacher and program coordinator.
Each class size is limited to 15 with a full time aide.
Ages: students must be 3 or 4 by August 1 respectively
The daily schedule and a general description of our activities are attached. Registration packets and fee schedule are available at the main school office.
Hope is NLS accredited.
Philosophy: Both the 2-day and 3-day classes are designed to provide developmentally appropriate experiences that meet children’s needs and stimulate learning in all areas (physical, spiritual, social, emotional and intellectual). Each child is viewed as a gift from God, and it is our privilege to be a part of their lives and their first introduction to a school setting. A strong emphasis is placed on play and hands-on experience and in addition, the Pre-k 4's class provides activities designed toward kindergarten readiness. We encourage children to be problem solvers, responsible, polite and respectful citizens. Interactions and activities are designed to develop children’s self esteem and positive feelings and communication with each other and learning. Parent involvement is encouraged!
