Your thoughts form and shape your actions, attitudes, and to some degree, even your emotions. Jesus said that the greatest command is to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” Often, it’s easier to gravitate towards spiritual experiences and practices that are geared to our hearts and emotions, and those can be powerful - but Jesus also invites us to make use of the power of our minds to think deeply about Him and our life of faith in Him. As we celebrate National Lutheran Schools Week, this weekend’s message will consider how we are all invited to learn to “think Christianly” about the whole of our lives, throughout our lives.
