Jesus teaches not to worry or fear. Paul reaffirms this command writing "do not be anxious about anything" and "rejoice in the Lord always." This teaching was more than a challenge some 2000 years ago and remains a very serious battle today. Gideon's story in Judges is a perfect example of how Jesus turns us from fearful and anxious people into Mighty Warriors.
