It would be great if we already lived fully in the new heavens and earth, but we don’t. For now, we already have a taste of that kingdom to come, but it has not yet come in fullness. Therefore, even as we trust God to help our hearts become increasingly fully alive through wisdom, counsel, healing, and spiritual warfare, the enemy is still prowling around to steal, kill, and destroy us and the abundant life God intends for us. While we’ve been equipped and empowered to fight for freedom, it’s too much to live on that journey alone - we were meant to do life together - with a few Christian brothers and sisters who will walk the road of life with us, knowing us well even as we know them, so that we can bandage each other’s wounds and help each other remember the ultimate truth of our stories and who we are in Christ. This week’s message will explore the critical importance of seeking out and living from that kind of community.
