When people in any domain are led by corrupt or selfish leaders, the people suffer - whether the domain is a country, a company, a family, or something else. Likewise, when people are led by leaders who love them and sacrifice for them, much good can come to them and life can flourish. But good leaders will only rise when they know who and whose they are - that they have value that is defined by God himself, regardless of what others say. Each one of us is called to exert influence on the little kingdoms we are a part of - and doing that well begins by leading with love and out of a knowledge of God’s love for us. This week’s message will look at how this theme is illustrated in the classic Disney animated film, The Lion King.
